Other Indie Development Blogs

Well, the reason I've got this page is because I spent a LOT of time looking for other indie development blogs I could read, and I don't want you to suffer through that.  :)

So, here we go:

Big Bad Wofl - A blog that follows the progress of indie developer Davian Blac as he makes the game "Voxel Heroes," which is a roguelike dungeon game that actually looks pretty cool.

Rylod - Follows the game "Rylod," which is a platform-style game with Terraria-ish block building and destroying (Although it's nothing like Terraria - you should really check it out, it's pretty neat).

Wollay's Blog - The blog of the creator of Cube World.  If you haven't heard of Cube World . . . it's like Minecraft plus Zelda.  Seriously, I can't believe that the game was only made by one person.  He's got freaking multiplayer.  What you see what you go to that blog is only two years of development.  Seriously . . . it's amazing.

Zombox - Tyson Ibele's blog, all about his project "Zombox."  Zombox is a sandbox-style zombie game for iOS devices that's frankly amazing - only been in development for a year, and it's basically amazing.

Project Zomboid - A very awesome computer zombie RPG blog, only in pre-Alpha right now but still amazing.  Made by the company IndieStone, which is an indie game dev company kinda like Mojang, but . . . different.

Mysterious Castle - An iOS roguelike, I do believe it's on the appstore already.  Hang on, lemme check . . . yep, for $2.99.  It's still in development, though, which is neat.  The game has generated worlds, which is cool too.

You know, I'm going to stop saying "blog" and start just describing the game.  You know they're all game dev blogs.

King Arthur's Gold - Very Terraria-like in appearance.  This one's not so much a blog as a website, but there's a blog on it if you scroll down, kinda like with Project Zomboid's site.  The game is basically an orgy of multiplayer slaughtering, Terraria-style.  I'm not sure which game came first, though . . .

Voxeliens - Looks kinda neat.  Voxel-based, very Minecrafty in appearance.  Haven't really read much of the stuff in it, but it seems like they're making 3d versions of retro games, like centipede etc.  Correct me if I'm wrong.

Well, that's enough for now; I think I've flooded your capacity for blog-reading.  :)
